Woman accused of spray painting car, pouring sugar in gas tank of another in Lockport

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman is accused of trying to damage one car and spray painting another in Lockport.

New York State Police say Buffalo resident Tamika R. Coplin, 36, purchased Fast Dry spray paint from a Walmart in Amherst and used it on a man’s car. Along with this, police say Coplin threatened a woman and put sugar in her gas tank in an attempt to damage the vehicle.

Coplin was charged with felony criminal mischief and aggravated harassment. Following arraignment, she was committed to the Niagara County Jail on $500 bail.
