Locals attempt to create world’s longest ice line Saturday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo will have a chance to set a world record this Saturday.

The Guinness Book of World Records will see if locals can create the world’s longest ice line.

To set the record, a continuous line of skaters must travel at least 400 meters together.

The event occurs during Chillabration at Canalside. Chillibration lasts from January 15-18. Space for the ice line is limited to the first 600 people who sign up. Participants must be at least 13 years old.
