Police: Burglar found after leaving note at the scene

STAFFORD, N.Y. (WIVB) — New York State Police say they arrested a burglar after she left a note at the scene of the alleged crime.

South Wales resident Ingrid Crosson, 43, is accused of forcibly entering a home and damaging the residence. State Police say she stole a laptop, an air pistol, a pocket knife, three jars of coins, and a pillow case with a total value of approximately $600.

Troopers say that Crosson left a note at the scene and that it was traced back to her. She was arraigned in Town of Batavia Court and released.
