Washington Street Post Office considering moving

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The U.S. Post Office at 710 Washington Street in Buffalo is considering moving to a new location.

Nationally, the Postal Service has been re-evaluating its facilities. If the Washington Street office is moved, it would stay within the same ZIP code and not affect letter delivery or P.O. Box numbers.

Representatives with USPS will present a proposal at the Common Council Chambers at Niagara Square on January 26.

Anyone wishing to say something about the proposal can send in written comments for 30 days after the meeting.
