10-year-old shot in Jamestown Monday night

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in Jamestown are investigating a Monday night shooting incident that injured a 10-year-old.

Police were called to the area of 411 E. 2 Street around 9:20 p.m. Multiple gunshots were fired into a residence, according to authorities.

The young victim was taken to Women and Children’s Hospital and then transferred to Buffalo Children’s Hospital. Police say they child is in stable condition, and is expected to recover under the care of doctors there.

Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call 483-7537 or leave anonymous tips at 483-TIPS (8477).
