Buffalo Police investigate shooting in front of Jim’s Steakout

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in front of a Jim’s Steakout Saturday morning.

Buffalo Police responded to the shooting on Main Street near Minnesota Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Detectives say a 31 year-old Buffalo man was struck by gunfire just outside the front door of the restaurant and then driven to ECMC in a private vehicle. A family member and a witness each tell News 4 that the shooting occurred inside Jim’s Steakout.

Police say the incident appears to be targeted in nature. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the Confidential TIPCALL Line at 847-2255.
