Customs and Border Protection agents boast successful year in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — According to statistics from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, 2015 marked a successful year, with a host of seizures

In the year, they say the year was successful fiscally, after seizing more than $450,000 in unreported currency, 400 arrests and nearly 400 drug seizures.

Agents were busy, too. Out of the Buffalo Field Office, the agency says it conducted in total nearly 18 million inspections to net those seizures.
