Police: Several bags of meth found during Dunkirk traffic stop

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Authorities in the City of Dunkirk say they seized a large amount of methamphetamine and a small amount of cash during a traffic stop on Eagle St.

Officials say they stopped Dale W. Miller as he was driving away from an area known for methamphetamine activity early Tuesday morning. Lawmakers say that Miller was known to have a suspended driver’s license.

A search after his arrest revealed that he was in possession of several bags of meth packaged for street sale, according to officers at the scene.

He was held without bail at Dunkirk Police Headquarters.
