CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Williamsville man is facing a slew of charges related to DWI after New York State Police responded to a call for a vehicle off the road in Clarence Friday.
State Police say William Crabtree, 34, faces multiple charges, including felony DWI, DWI under Leandra’s Law and traffic violations, after his vehicle was found off Main Street.
Troopers say Crabtree had a 12-year-old in the vehicle with him.
Upon standing, Troopers say Crabtree was unsteady on his feet and smelled like alcohol. This prompted State Police to test him at the Clarence barracks. Crabtree’s blood alcohol content was .24 percent, according to State Police — three times the legal limit for alcohol.
