Bisons to offer ‘peanut-reduced seating’ for fans with allergies

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Bisons are offering a chance for fans with peanut allergies to have “a worry-free ballpark experience.”

For the second year in a row, the team will offer ‘peanut reduced seating’ for five home games at Coca-Cola Field. Certain sections of the ballpark’s club level will have a “peanut reduced” section once a month during the season.

This is an increase from last year’s three ‘peanut-reduced seating’ offers. Here are the games which will offer the special seating this season:

  • Friday, April 15 vs. Rochester 6:05 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 7 vs. Syracuse 1:05 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 14 vs. Durham 7:05 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 20 vs. Norfolk 1:05 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 14 vs. Pawtucket 1:05 p.m.

The Bisons are offering an $18 “Skeeter Nut Free Ticket Pack” for all five games. The pack includes a game ticket, a Sahlen’s hot dog on a peanut-free roll, a Coca-Cola soft drink and Skeeter Nut Free Cookies. The packs can only be ordered in advance by calling (716) 846-2211.

Single-game tickets will go on sale March 19. ‘Peanut-reduced seating’ tickets must be ordered in advance by calling (716) 846-2211.
