Polished Lodge at River Fest Park showed off

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Following millions of dollars in investments into Buffalo’s waterfront, officials got to show off a new gem at Buffalo’s River Fest Park Monday.

Officials showed off the Lodge at the park, which resides at 249 Ohio Street, and is surrounded by three acres of land. Also in the park are a band shell, picnic area, boardwalk, public docks and a view of the Buffalo River.

Partially funded by the federal government, local officials said the Lodge is just a part of more than $72 million invested in roughly a decade.

Once the inside is furnished, the Lodge at River Fest Park will feature food, refreshments and a view of the Buffalo River for all to enjoy.

Officials say they official open day will be in May.
