Sheriff: $42,000 in crack cocaine seized during Buffalo raid

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office raided an Emslie Street residence on Thursday and say they found three-fourths of a kilogram of crack cocaine during the search.

In addition to that, deputies say they also found marijuana and packaging materials.

Buffalo resident Quinton Hill, 38, a four-time convicted felon, was charged with a multitude of drug offenses, including two felonies for criminal substance possession and criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell.

Authorities say they began investigating Hill in July of 2015. As part of the investigation, the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit sought a search warrant after an early February road patrol arrest.

The crack cocaine seized in the raid has an estimated street value of $42,000.

Hill was committed to the Erie County Holding Center. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
