Former Lancaster school employee accused of stealing $3,400 from district

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — A former employee of Lancaster Central School District is accused of stealing more than $3,400 from the district.

Lancaster resident Rhonda Greco, 47, was indicted on charges of grand larceny and ten counts of falsifying business records.

She worked in the school’s Accounts Payable Department from 2009 until September of 2015.

Greco is accused of using school money to pay for her personal NYSEG, National Fuel and Verizon Wireless bills ten times from October 2014 to September 2015.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released.
