IHOP serves free pancakes during Tuesday fundraising effort

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — If you’re headed out to an IHOP on Tuesday, March 8, the restaurant will serve you a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes during an effort to raise $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Restaurant patrons are asked to leave a donation for the hospitals on the 11th annual IHOP National Pancake Day.

During last year’s fundraiser, IHOP restaurants served more than 6 million free pancakes and successfully raised $3.5 million for children’s charities.

Overall, IHOP has raised $20 million since 2006.

This year’s fundraiser will last from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
