DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Dunkirk Police say they discovered weapons and drugs after noticing suspicious activity in a local business’s parking lot earlier this week.
Early Tuesday morning, Dunkirk Police arrested Angola resident Joshua Heimerl, 19, and Silver Creek residents Jesse Nahrebeski, 21, and Jesse Silvagnia, 20, after they say they found them acting suspiciously in a vehicle.
Police noticed them just before midnight at a closed business. After a search, officers say they seized a large rock of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, illegal metal knuckles, a large dagger and a realistic-looking semi-automatic BB gun.
Along with that, police say they also found a crack pipe and other drug paraphernalia.
Nahrebeski and Silvagnia are facing charges for felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful marijuana possession.
Heimerl also faces those charges, along with criminal weapon possession after police say they discovered the metal knuckles.
The three were held without bail pending arraignment in Dunkirk City Court.
