4-vehicle crash calls crews to Fillmore and Sycamore Streets

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A four-vehicle crash at Fillmore and Sycamore Streets in Buffalo scattered debris across the area Thursday morning just before 11 a.m.

Buffalo Police and local fire officials arrived at the scene where extensive damage was spotted on the vehicles. Officers say a driver traveling south on Filmore collided with a parked car, then rear-ended another vehicle, causing a chain-reaction crash.

Police say in total, four vehicles were involved and four people were injured. The injuries were minor.

Officers say a 53-year-old woman may have had a medical emergency before the crash, leading her to spark the collisions.

An investigation is continuing.
