Buffalo man accused of driving drunk with toddler in vehicle

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo resident Toh Bah, 57, was arrested and charged with a felony count of Aggravated DWI after Erie County Sheriff’s deputies say he violated Leandra’s Law.

Authorities reported that Bah was pulled over for crossing over the yellow line and speeding.

Police say they approached the vehicle and observed a child in the back seat without a car seat. Alcohol was observed in the vehicle’s cabin, according to deputies.

The child was younger than four years old, according to officials.

The defendant refused a breath test, officials reported, and was transported to Erie County Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

Bah is scheduled to appear in Grand Island Town Court March 16.
