Niagara Falls business breaks ground on brand new $11.7 million facility

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — An assortment of lawmakers and business officials stood together at the groundbreaking of a brand new facility for a local business.

Tulip Corporation announced a new $11.7 million manufacturing facility on Highland Avenue that will replace its 114-year-old facility in which it has operated for years.

The new building will support Tulip’s molded products division, as the old facility can’t support new growth. The new facility will allow the company to retain 81 jobs and create 10 new ones in Niagara Falls.

OSC/Brightfields Corporation has cleaned up the site, which has undergone New York State’s Brownfield Cleanup Program, and will create and own the building. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
