BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The suspense did not last long for the UB men’s basketball team, as the MAC champions found out their NCAA fate relatively quickly into the NCAA Selection Show Sunday night.

The Bulls will head to Providence, Rhode Island, to face the Miami Hurricanes. UB is the 14 seed (of 16 seeds) in its region, while Miami is the 3 seed.

The Hurricanes went 25-7 this season as a member of the ACC, while the Bulls picked up win number 20 in their upset of top seed Akron to claim the MAC title on Saturday night.
