JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — After Jamestown Police say they found a multitude of envelopes and capsules containing cocaine and heroin in the same home where five young children were found, two people were charged.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, police raided a residence on E. 2nd Street amid an investigation into heroin trafficking in the area.
In the home, police found more than 400 envelopes of heroin and around 50 capsules full of powder cocaine and drug packaging material.
Along with that, police say they found five children between one and nine years old in the residence.
Misha Gonzalez, 34, and Juan Valasquez-Rodriguez, 37, were taken into custody and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and five counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say the two may face additional charges.
