Clarence native nominated to serve on United States District Court for western District of NY


BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Clarence native who has specialized her legal career on medical malpractice cases received a tip of the hat from the nation’s highest power.

President Barack Obama nominated Kathleen Marie Sweet to serve on the United States District Court for the western District of New York, a position held in high regard.

Mr. Obama called the records of each judge he nominated distinguished and impressive, noting they have, “displayed unwavering commitment to justice and integrity.”
