JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown teen is facing charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI) after police located him on Route 60 on Friday.
New York State Police say Joseph A. Ramos, 19, drove into a ditch off of Route 60, and they located him at about 4:50 a.m. While interviewing Ramos, police say he appeared to be under the influence.
After arresting him and testing his sobriety, police say he showed a .16 percent blood alcohol content in a breathalyzer test, twice over the legal limit.
Ramos faces DWI charges and more and will return to court at a later date.
