BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An accident on the I-190 led police to rush to Exit 2, only to find a woman who they would arrest for DWI.
Officers on Monday night say they learned of a one-vehicle crash just after 9 p.m. involving a Chevrolet Malibu. When they hit the scene, they located the car off the road, stuck in a snow bank.
Police say they believed the driver drove drunk, and upon testing Jennifer Slomba, 38, they learned she drove with a blood alcohol content of .23 percent — nearly three times over the legal limit.
Slomba faces charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated. She’ll return to court in Buffalo on April 11.
