NEW YORK (WIVB) — The World Trade Center will show Syracuse spirit tonight in support of the university’s women’s basketball team’s NCAA Championship game.

The building’s 408-foot spire will glow blue and orange in support of the team.

“There’s no denying that the UConn women are a force to be reckoned with – but with the resilience the Syracuse women have shown, I have a feeling there’s one more upset left in this season,” said Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “People doubted the Orange earlier in the tournament – only to be proven wrong by a team that defied the odds to earn a trip to the Final Four for the first time in program history. I wish the best of luck to Coach Q and the women’s team in the final game of what has already been a season for the ages.”

Syracuse will play against the Universty of Connecticut at 8:30 p.m in Indiana.
