Two shot outside Amherst business Sunday

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police are asking for the public’s help solving a double shooting near the University at Buffalo south campus Sunday morning.

Witnesses told police, an altercation began inside Habibi Sheesha Lounge on Main Street just before 2:00 a.m., and when the people involved went to a nearby parking lot, someone started shooting.

Two victims were taken to Erie County Medical Center.  Amherst police say 19 year old Gebrial Shamburger of Buffalo was shot in the neck and is listed in guarded condition.  18 year old Christopher Dargan of Buffalo was shot in the foot, he was treated and released.

Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call them at (716) 689-1349.
