Police: Local artist tattooed minors in exchange for sexual favors

DELEVAN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A local tattoo artist is facing charges of exchanging his services for sexual favors with children in their teens.

Police say they raided the Delevan home of Donald Howe Jr., 30, as part of an investigation into alleged sexual contact he had with a 16-year-old girl in his home. Charges against him state Howe had sexual relations with the teen after tattooing her.

Howe faces charges of third-degree criminal sex act, second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree criminal nuisance.

Police are asking the public for any tips on Howe’s alleged crimes to be called in to 353-4029.

Howe will return to court at a later date.
