CELERON, N.Y. (WIVB)- The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and NYS Police have arrested a man in Celeron for possessing drugs on Friday.
Authorities, including the Jamestown Police SWAT team, executed a search warrant at a home on Smith St. as part of an investigation into the sale and trafficking of drugs.
Investigators found methamphetamine, prescription pills, packaging materials and other paraphernalia.
Police charged Lindsey Harrison, 38, with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence. Police say Harrison tried to flush meth down the toilet when authorities executed the search warrant.
Harrison has been arraigned and is at the county jail.
Police also charged a 17 year old with possession of a controlled substance for having a narcotic prescription medication without a script.
