Habitat for Humanity dedicates home to air force reservist

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Air Force reservist has the keys to a new home on Buffalo’s west side.

Habitat for Humanity dedicated a house on Busti Avenue, right near Lasalle Park Saturday afternoon.

Shamiqua Mason and her family put 500 hours worth of work into the home along with volunteers.

Her brother and daughter will live there.

Mason received a non-profit loan that she will pay to own the house.

It’s the 279th “Habitat” house in the City of Buffalo.
