Tonawanda Police arrest 2 after Harbor Master building break-ins

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two people have been charged in connection with damage done to the City of Tonawanda’s Harbor Master Building.

Police were not completely clear as to what happened that led to the arrests of North Tonawanda residents Tyler Carson, 18, and Tylyne Lapaglia, 23, but they say the two broke doors, entered the building twice and caused more than $900 in damage.

The break-ins happened this month, according to police.

Both face charges of criminal trespassing, but Carson faces an additional felony for alleged criminal mischief. The two will appear in court on May 10.
