MEDINA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Various law enforcement agencies came together to make two arrests related to alleged drug sales in Medina on Thursday.
The first arrest came in Applewood Trailer Park as Medina Police, Orleans County Sheriff’s deputies and other officials accused Allen Snook, 33, of illegally selling morphine and Xanax pills.
Snook was taken into custody from his Edgewood Drive home, where authorities say they also seized cash, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and several rifles and shotguns.
The alleged drug dealer was charged with two counts each of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
Separate from this incident, West Ave. resident Betty Russell, 57, was taken from her Medina home after being accused of selling hydrocodone pills. She faces the same felony charges as Snook.
Both were arraigned in the Town of Ridgeway Court and committed to the Orleans County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Officials say further charges related to the incidents are pending as investigation continues.
