Lockport Wyndham Lawn teen arrested, accused of violence

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A teen from a home focused on youth and family services that focuses on learning in a positive environment has been arrested by the New York State Police.

Officers say they responded to the home on reports of an assault between teens there. When on the scene, officers say they took a 17-year-old into custody for allegedly chasing down another teen and punching the student in the back of the head.

The teen faces assault charges and will return to court in the Town of Lockport later in May. The victim is recovering from minor head injuries.
