Qdoba to donate percentage of opening day sales to Food Bank of WNY

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Qdoba is celebrating the opening of its first location in Erie County by holding a “burrito cutting” on Tuesday morning.

The new “fast-casual” Mexican restaurant is located at 2013 Walden Ave., near the Walden Galleria mall. Known for its free guacamole, Knockout Tacos and 3-Cheese Queso, restaurant patrons can also enjoy free wifi and comfortable furnishings in the building.

On Tuesday, from 5-10 p.m., 20 percent of sales from the Cheektowaga location will be donated to Food Bank of WNY’s Food for Kids Initiative.

The first Qdoba restaurant opened in Denver in 1995.
