Flooring company manager accused of stealing thousands of dollars from customers, company

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A manager at a Cheektowaga flooring company was charged with grand larceny after police say he stole customers’ money and gave out “special discount deals” while keeping the money for himself.

Cheektowaga Police say Depew resident Bradley Pilarski, 37, was a Flooring Fanatic manager for the last eight months. In the last several months, police say Pilarski stole customers’ deposits and deleted their invoices so that the business owner would have no evidence of the transactions.

Also, the “deals” that Pilarski gave out were unauthorized by the company, according to police. Overall, police say Pilarski stole more than $18,000 from the company and customers.

Pilarski was charged with third-degree grand larceny.

Police want to know if he was involved with any other alleged illegal transactions. Those with knowledge of any in particular are asked to call Detective Donald Strozyk at 686-3548.
