Sinclairville’s boil water order lifted

MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Water woes in Chautauqua County’s Sinclairville are winding down after recent tests revealed safe water.

Officials say they collected the samples on May 10 and May 11 after a major water main leak on May 9 which compromised the system’s integrity.

The leak, which was repaired the same day, prompted a multiple-day boil water order, which has since been lifted due to positive results from both days.

Any residents with questions are encouraged to reach out to the Chautauqua County Health Department at (716) 753-4481.
