Police: Suspects flee traffic stop, found with pot and loaded gun

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On Friday morning, just after midnight, Buffalo Police officers said a driver and passenger fled a traffic stop at Grider St. and East Delavan Ave.. Police say that one suspect fled, but was apprehended a short while later, while the second was caught at the initial scene.

Inside the car, police say they found a loaded handgun and marijuana. Arrested and charged were Demetrio Bradley, 24, and Richard Vanever, 28, of Buffalo.

The two were charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
