WESTERN, N.Y. (WIVB) — The baby of a central New York police officer was found dead in a car, according to officials who spoke with CBS contributors WKTV.
The 4-month-old baby was found unresponsive in his father’s vehicle Monday in the Oneida County town of Western, contributors say.
After being taken to Rome City Hospital, contributors say the baby was pronounced dead.
Contributors say the baby was in the vehicle of his father, Rome Police officer Mark Fanfarillo, for an extended amount of time.
The baby’s cause of death will be determined by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner, according to contributors.
