Buffalo man jailed in Cattaraugus County on felony drug charge

SALAMANCA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was jailed without bail following a traffic stop in Salamanca.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office worked with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task to arrest Ronald Mitchell, 34, on Tuesday morning.

Authorities say he had cocaine and a large amount of cash in his possession while driving on Gravel Pit Rd. Mitchell was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Following a court appearance in Great Valley, he was put behind bars in the Cattaraugus County Jail.
