Amherst man arrested in alleged Buffalo meth bust

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo Police arrested an Amherst man in connection to an alleged methamphetamine operation in the city Thursday night.

Police say they found crack cocaine, a batch of meth and 1.5 pounds of marijuana as they arrested 33-year-old Thomas Eisenberger on the 800 block of West Ave.

Eisenberger is facing a felony for the alleged meth possession, and was also charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

After police made the arrest, they worked with fire crews to secure the area and properly dispose of the alleged meth lab.

Police say they also found three suspicious sticks at the scene that they thought may have been explosives, but it turned out they were not. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
