Man charged with cocaine, pot possession amid drug investigation

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — As police in Jamestown continue to battle against drug distribution, they say they’ve netted another arrest on cocaine and pot charges.

Officers say they entered the home of Wayne Leeper Sr., 62, on suspicion of drug dealings and more. Inside his home, police say they found cocaine and more than five pounds of pot alongside $2,000 in cash, a scale and other dealing paraphernalia.

Police say Leeper faces charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
