Man jailed for allegedly burglarizing Lockport business

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara County man faces charges of burglarizing a business following an investigation by Niagara County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Officials announced on Friday they had linked Robert Abernathy, 48, to a burglary on Cold Springs Road on Feb. 1, entering Great Lakes Media illegally.

Abernathy faces fourth-degree grand larceny charges and third-degree criminal mischief charges. Following his arraignment, a judge remanded him to jail without bail.
