Falcon rescued limping along Buffalo sidewalk

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — News crews stumbled along a falcon with a limp as the day began on Thursday, reporting the odd sight to the Erie County SPCA.

The falcon had been limping along a sidewalk along the Buffalo Central Terminal when crews rolled past, stopping due to the odd sight. Animal experts arrived soon after calls went out to net the bird, bringing it in for help and attention.

SPCA officials say they’ll have a vet check the bird out, but announced it is doing well in their care currently.
