Niagara Falls offers chance to get rid of hazardous medicine

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Those looking to get rid of hazardous medicine from their home can do so in Niagara Falls this weekend.

The city is hosting a special waste drop off day on Saturday, June 18 at 1785 New Rd. They will be collecting and safely disposing of unwanted medications, including prescriptions.

Anyone wishing to participate must make an appointment by calling the Niagara County Department of Public Works at (716) 439-7250 or visiting
