Elma man accused of crashing into his own house while drunk

ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Elma man is facing charges after Erie County Sheriff’s deputies say he crashed a vehicle into his house.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Thomas Koseck, 72, was seen standing near his vehicle on Jamison Road in Elma.

The deputy at the scene said Koseck showed signs of being drunk, and he was arrested shortly after this.

After testing him, deputies say Koseck was more than twice over the legal limit for alcohol when he impacted the house with his vehicle.

Koseck was charged with DWI and taken to ECMC for medical evaluation.
