Use of cell phones banned at some concerts, events

(WSPA) — More concerts and events are going phone free.

Alicia Keys is one of the most recent artists to ban cell phones at her shows.

You have to put them in the neoprene pouches made by the company Yondr. It locks your phone inside.

If you need to use it you can come outside and use a metal disk to break the lock.

Artists say it keeps people from recording their work and lets you enjoy the show without focusing on your phone.
