Victim rushed to ECMC following serious motorcycle, car crash

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — A crash between a car and motorcycle on the Millersport Highway sent one victim to the Erie County Medical Center on Monday.

Officers rushed to the busy road on Monday just before 2 p.m., where they say they located the 29-year-old motorcyclist with arm, hip and leg injuries. Authorities say the driver of the car attempted to make a left turn onto the Millersport Highway, hitting the motorcyclist.

Charges have yet to be filed, but police say they’ve placed a senior investigator on the crash investigation.
