Huge tree branch closes off portion of Rutland Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A huge tree branch toppled to the ground in south Buffalo Monday morning, covering a portion of Rutland Street.

The street was closed between Cumberland Ave. and Abbott Rd. as crews worked to remove the branch.

Firefighters later turned the matter over to Buffalo Police and members of National Grid.
