BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Before 10 a.m. Monday, two large vehicles rolled over on busy western New York roads.
In Buffalo, two women and two teenage boys and one other person were driven away by an ambulance after a van crashed at Seneca St. and Bailey Ave.
Police say the van was struck by a pickup truck that was traveling south on Bailey Ave. The truck ran through a red light, according to police.
Three of victims, including both boys and a woman, were taken away on a stretcher, but did not have life-threatening injuries. One woman was seen with a neck collar.
The truck driver, Andrew Eberhardt, 52, was accused of leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
In the same morning, a garbage truck rolled over on the Route 400 southbound ramp off of Transit Rd.
It is not clear if anyone was injured in this incident or what caused either crash.
