SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A little girl who’s been fighting back after being badly burned in a fire that killed her family in 2013 received new prosthetics on Friday.

Schenectady’s “Super Survivor” Safyre Terry has received her new prosthetic hand and foot.

In May, Safyre’s mom pleaded guilty to lying about a fire that killed her family.

To date, no one has been charged for causing the fire.

Safyre made headlines worldwide when her simple request for Christmas cards went viral over the winter.
