Sheriff: Niagara Falls man may have suffered medical emergency before morning crash

TOWN OF PORTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara Falls man was hospitalized in critical condition after a vehicle crash in the Town of Porter.

Robert Raczka, 60, drove past a stop sign on Creek Rd. and went off the west side of Blairville Rd. shortly before 5 a.m. Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies say his vehicle then went through a ditch and a chain link fence before narrowly missing a storage facility.

After this, deputies say Raczka went through another chain link fence and drove into a tree, where the vehicle stopped.

Deputies believe Raczka suffered some sort of medical emergency before the crash.

The accident is under investigation.
