North Tonawanda Police looking for man accused of sexually abusing child

UPDATE: The charges against Renda have been dismissed.

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The North Tonawanda Police Department is looking for a man suspected of sexually abusing a child.

The last known address of Jeremiah Renda, 36, was on 17th Ave. in North Tonawanda. He is accused of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child related to an incident police say occurred on May 30.

Renda is described as 5’10” and 180 lbs. He has brown eyes and tattoos.

Anyone with information on Renda’s whereabouts is asked not to approach him, but instead call the North Tonawanda Police Detective’s Bureau at 692-4312. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
